Fingal

Glazing cost was reduced by increasing U value from 3.2 to 3.5. This was achieved by adding 38% more insulation to the walls and 37% more insulation to the ceilings.

Proposed residential dwelling (class 1a) is located in the city of Fingal. It consists of 2 levels with a net area of 314m2.

Through VURB method we managed to reduce overall glazing U-value by more than 8%.

All windows and doors:
U-value: Avg 3.2, SHGC: avg 0.45
All skylights:
U-value: 4.0, SHGC: 0.27
