Project Description

Glazing cost was reduced by increasing U value from 2.05 to 2.3. This was achieved by adding 33% more insulation to the walls and 40% more insulation to the suspended floors (compared to R2.25 as per DtS).

Proposed residential dwelling (class 1a) is located in the city of Frankston. It consists of 2 levels with a net conditioned area of 108m2.

Through VURB method we managed to reduce overall glazing U-value by more than 10%.
